Neoprene insulation
Neoprene insulation
DESCRIPTION
Chloroprene rubber sponge (Neoprene) is a closed cell structure foam produced in sheet/block form. It is fireproof, chemical resistant, anti-aging, oil resistant and has good mechanical strength.
It is an elastomeric insulator that provides excellent thermal and acoustic properties when used to line air units and ducts, excellent noise reducer, energy conservation, prevents the entry of moisture and mold generation. It is used to save energy and prevent condensation in large pipes, ducts, vessels, tanks and equipment.
The product's closed cell structure creates exceptional thermal properties (K value of 0.245 at 75° F and wvt of 0.03 perm-in) that protect against moisture penetration and heat loss or gain within a temperature range of -40° F to 200° F. An easy-to-clean, exceptionally tough protective skin provides an enhanced surface to resist moisture and dirt.
It is an effective alternative to pipe insulation in narrow areas, reducing heat flow for hot water pipes, liquid heating and dual temperature pipes.
MEASURES
Rolls: 10 and 15m long according to specifications.
Width: 1200 mm.
Thicknesses: 3.6, 9, 12, 19, 25mm.
ADHESIVE
High performance, mesh-backed or unsupported acrylic adhesive in any of its available weights. It offers excellent initial tack, compatibility with many substrates and resistance to aging.
